Caring for Our Well-Being, 8 week free course starting Friday September 22nd from 10.30am-1pm in the Millennium Centre. This course has been developed in response to a need in the community for short courses whose particular focus is supporting people to take charge of their own well-being. Most people in their lives have experience of mental and emotional distress. Sometimes, people go through periods of significant distress which affects their health and well-being. Buggy Buddies, Coming Soon! Buggy Buddies is a six-week physical activity programme for new mothers to exercise in a safe environment with their babies. The 1 hour sessions consists of a mix of both cardio exercises and exercises that aim to improve strength and increase overall fitness. This includes walking/jogging and a variety of full body exercises. The programme offers a huge range of activities, which caters for all fitness levels and allows participants to work at an intensity which is appropriate to them. Note New Format for Adoration in Caherconlish. Mass followed by a period of silent prayer allowing the opportunity for individuals to offer praise and thanks to God until 11am. Some might like to stay for 10/20 minutes or until 11am when the Blessed Sacrament will be put away. Rosary recited at 11am for those remaining. “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst”.

NEW MASS ROTA - There is a new Mass Rota whereby our neighbouring priests frs. Sean Fennelly & Eddie Cleary will celebrate Masses here in Caherconlish & Caherline from time to time (operating from Saturday16th September). These changes are challenging for us all. This is a learning situation which requires further reflection and feedback. Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly will meet with people from the parish combinations on Thursday 19th October 7.30pm in the Millennium. Everyone is welcome to this meeting.
