Child Welfare and Protection.

Over the last 12 months we at the Millennium Centre have been working very hard on getting all our staff and volunteers trained in the area of Child protection and the protection of vulnerable adults in our society. Our focus is on making sure everyone is safe, comfortable and protected while in our community centre. The role of the Designated Liaison Person (DLP) is a very important position and we are proud to announce that Peter is now fully trained and has now been named as our DLP. The Designated Liaison Person is responsible for ensuring that reporting procedures within our organisation are followed, so that child welfare and protection concerns are referred to promptly and discreetly.
