Lottery Syndicate Agreement: terms and conditions
  1. The date of this agreement: This agreement runs from 31/5/21 to 19/9/21. There will be a period of five weeks (31/5/21 to 2/7/21) where all monies will be collected. The lottery entries will begin on Monday 12th July, and will run for 10 weeks, until Sunday 19th September.

  2. All members must be over 18 years.

  3. The appointed managers are: Susan Pratt, board representative, and Declan Delaney. They are responsible for maintaining the syndicate agreement, collecting funds from each player to purchase tickets, storing the tickets safely, checking the tickets to see if the syndicate has won.

  4. The board of management are responsible for creating the syndicate agreement and dividing the winnings amongst the members.

  5. The names of all members of the syndicate will be recorded by the syndicate managers. Caherconlish Caherline Community Council will hold one equal share in the syndicate’s winnings. It is not a requirement for the Caherconlish Caherline Community Council to pay €100 to hold this share.

  6. All members will be entered as an equal share into the following lottery draws, on a weekly basis, on each of the 10 weeks from 12/7/21 to 19/9/21: Lotto and Lotto plus (Wednesday and Saturday), Euromillions/ Euromillions plus (Tuesday and Friday), Daily millions/ Daily millions plus. The numbers for each draw will be selected by quick pick and the draws will be entered on-line using a Lotto account in the name of the syndicate manager, Susan Pratt, linked to the bank account of Caherconlish Caherline Community Council.

  7. To be included in the draws starting on the 12/7/21, all members must pay a minimum total of 100 euro. All members have five weeks (31/5/21 to 8pm 2/7/21) to have monies paid up in full. Monies can be paid in multiples of 20 over this 5 week collection period.

    • Monies can be paid online through the CCCC website and on CCCC Facebook page, using a debit or credit card.

    • Monies can also be paid directly to the syndicate managers, in person at the MC, on the Friday of each of the 5 collection weeks (4/6/21, 11/6/21, 18/6/21, 25/6/21, 2/7/21), between 10am-2pm and 6-8pm. A receipt will be issued at each payment. This receipt shall be retained by the syndicate member. The board of management would like to state: In person payments will only be accepted during these designated times. This will be strictly enforced. In order to avoid offence, please do not attempt to make in person payments outside these designated times.

    • If the total amount paid in by an individual, over the 5 weeks, amounts to less than 100 euro that individual will be excluded from the syndicate. The total amount paid in by that individual, up to 8pm on the 2/7/21, will be returned to the individual. 

    • All monies paid by members of the syndicate will be lodged to the bank account of Caherconlish Caherline Community Council.

    • Each member will have one equal share of the winnings.  Caherconlish Caherline Community Council will hold one equal share in the syndicate’s winnings. Eg total winnings divided by number of members +1 (CCCC)

    • There exists a minimum threshold for winnings to be paid out to the members. This threshold will be >= 20 euro per member. Winnings <20 euro per member will be retained by the syndicate managers, on behalf of the CCCC, and will be divided equally among all members at the end of the 10 week playing period.​
  8. Members failing to pay a minimum of 100 euro by 8pm on the 2/7/21 will be excluded from the syndicate.

  9. If the syndicate has a big win, the decision to go public will be made by the board of management of the MC.

  10. The agreement must be signed and dated by each member as consent to be included as a member of the syndicate. Consenting to make an online payment through the CCCC website or CCCC Facebook page, is considered consent to be included as a member of the syndicate.

By joining the syndicate online, members are agreeing to be contacted by us via email/phone in relation to the syndicate and also consent for us to hold their provided information in relation to the operation of the syndicate.
