MILLENNIUM Name Plaque: We are inviting you, your family, your friends, and the wider community to help with our future planning by purchasing; a Name Plaque 6” x 4” (150 x 100 mm) for the sum of €100.

You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Your Plaque with your inscription will be displayed prominently in the Millennium Centre and highlighted appropriately. Contact the Millennium Centre for more information.


Joker Fundraiser: Jackpot is €780. Next Draw Friday 3rd March at 10pm. No jackpot winner last week. Winner of €20 Darragh O Byrne.


CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: Team Limerick Clean-up TLC8 will take place on Good Friday 7th April. The usual clean-up will take place in the village and environs. Please see this newsletter for updates. Registration for the event is still open on teamlimerickcleanup.ie. A free Electrical Recycling “drop off day” will take place on Saturday 25th March at Castletroy College between 10am to 4pm. Large electrical appliances, small household appliances, computer equipment, batteries etc. can be dropped off.


Cakes for Cliona’s: Sunday April 2nd Millennium Centre 10am -1pm, Local Transition year students Sarah Whelan and Ella Fallon are fundraising and will walk 100kms of the Camino in aid of Cliona’s Foundation a Limerick based charity that helps families with a seriously sick child. Please come and support our bake sale. We will have lots of goodies and a raffle. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner –numbers drawn were 7, 10, 12 & 23. Lucky dip winners were Martin Casey, Tony Collins, Liz Sheerin, Margaret Lyons, and Neil & Nicola Kelly. Next week’s jackpot will be €11,100 and the draw will be held on Thursday night this coming week via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. LOTTO DATE CHANGE: Reminder that our draw scheduled for Friday March 17th will be pulled in 24 hours to Thursday March 16th, the draw taking place at the usual time of 9:30pm. The change is for that weekend only! JUVENILE TRAINING: Our U5 & U7 players will return to training on Friday March 31st from 6pm - 7pm in the hurling field. Players should bring water, hurley & helmet, hurleys & helmet are available on loan for those starting out. We look forward to seeing you all back and we welcome any new players to the club. The Draft Community Planning Plan is now collated, and we must consider what the residents can do for the future of Caherconlish Caherline with the action planning phase of the Community Planning having prioritised 5 key areas.

If you wish to hear more about it or get involved, then contact Mike Walsh on 0851254584 for more information and a copy of the draft plan. A follow up meeting will be taking place in the Millennium Centre on Wednesday 22nd March from 7.30pm facilitated by Ballyhoura Development Company CLG at which the formation of a Community Council will begin. You are welcome to join our Feast Day Mass celebrations this Thursday 16th 7pm in the Millennium Centre & this Friday 17th 10.30am Caherline. We know Patrick chiefly from his own writings. This is how he begins his story: I am Patrick, a sinner....the most unlearned of people...I used to pray many times during the day....


EMIGRANTS’ COLLECTION: We are asked to provide support to marginalised and vulnerable emigrants from our shore. The Second collection for Emigrants will be taken up after Communion at our Masses on Thursday Eve of St. Patrick in the Millennium Centre and on Friday St. Patrick's Day Mass in Caherline.

PRAYER FRIENDS OF FIRST COMMUNION CHILDREN: Parishioners are invited to take the name of a Child and to pray for him/her every day until their Communion. Names will be in a basket on a table in the M.C. on Saturday 6.30pm & Sunday 10.30am in Caherline.


EUCHARISTIC ADORATION - The Archdiocese will re-launch the devotion of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament soon. An Information Meeting will take place in the Marian Hall, St. Michael St., Tipp Town, on Saturday 18th March, 11.00 – 12.30. If you would like to attend, please contact Breda Lunn 086-0782122 or Fr.
