CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in getting a large amount of work completed over the past week, Painting at the Monument, The Square, High St, Main St and church yard. Power hosing the church yard and cleaning of Goonans way. Weather permitting, we will meet again next Tuesday at 7pm in the Square to continue the good work.


Limerick City and County Council is beginning a process to draft a Limerick Biodiversity Action Plan 2024/5- 2030 in


partnership with the Heritage Council. The aim of this plan is to protect and enhance biodiversity within Limerick City and County. The aim of this discussion paper is to begin this process to,

  • hear your views on nature/biodiversity/natural heritage.

  • Listen to your views.

  • Record, conserve and restore biodiversity.

  • make space for nature.

Annual Boher Charity Cycle – 31 May,  at 7.15pm  We look forward to welcoming you all once again to this fantastic evening of catching up and of course doing a small bit of cycling (40Km with options of a shorter cycle along the usual route) and raising money to enable Cliona's Foundation to continue the great work they do.   We have our Idonate page open and ready to take your donation, https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/Bohercycleforcliona you can also donate on the night of the cycle. A New CEMETERY Maintenance Committee has been formed: A special thanks to those who attended Tuesday’s meeting.   It is a work in progress for everyone to see how the duties to the following graveyards can be properly carried out -    Caherconlish, Ballybrood, Inch St. Lawrence & Kilmurry.

Bereavement Support Information Talk in Milford Care Centre, Education Department on Tue 28th May from 7pm - 8.30pm. The Bereavement Information Talk is designed to give general information on grief and bereavement to bereaved people, their family and friends. Members of the Bereavement Service will be present to provide general information on Grief and Bereavement. The evening will comprise of: Short talk by a Bereavement Counsellor, Different experiences of Grief, Services available, Question Time. The Information Talk is Free.


PADRE PIO PILGRIMAGE 2024: We are happy to announce that devotees of St. Pio will be welcomed back to Holycross Abbey once again for our National Pilgrimage on Sunday 26th May. Ceremonies will begin at 1.30pm with concelebrated Mass at 3pm. All are welcome.
