The unannounced judging for the National Tidy Towns competition will probably take place over the next week. It would be much appreciated if all residents and businesses would ensure that the area is clean, tidy and presentable to all residents and visitors alike, TIDY TOWNS IS NOT ABOUT A COMMITTEE IT IS ABOUT A COMMUNITY. It is a work in progress for everyone to see how the duties to the following graveyards can be properly carried out - Ballybrood & Kilmurry. We welcome any available assistance – if you can help out in any way don’t hesitate. It is imperative that we don’t put the burden of this on a few people. Good news for Caherline - Road Safety Improvement Works will be carried out under The Active Travel Programme at the junction at Caherline Church and School. Section 38 showing the proposed work will be advertised shortly on the Council website for 4 weeks. We are grateful to the County Council and local Councillors for making this possible.
