Caherconlish Tennis Club News: Please join us for a family fun day at our re-opening on Sunday June 14th from 12pm – 3pm. There will be something for everyone including free barbecue and refreshments, tennis, bouncy castle, and soccer games etc

CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: A huge thank you to all the volunteers that joined us on Saturday last and Tuesday evening. We would appreciate any improvements residents and business owners undertake in their own areas. Weather permitting, we will meet again next Tuesday June16th at 7pm in the Square to continue the good work. We need as many volunteers as possible to help us. Please join us for 1 to 1.5 hours. Tidy Towns is not about a committee it is about a community.
Tidy Towns have achieved significant progress over the past few years with community involvement. We are competing in the National Tidy Towns and Limerick Going for Gold competitions again this year. To keep our standards high, we ask all residents and businesses to ensure their premises are neat, clean, and weed-free ahead of the unannounced judging.
CAHERLINE GAA: CLUB LOTTO No jackpot winner- numbers drawn were 1, 6, 23, 28 - lucky dip winners were Bernie O'Sullivan, Anthony Fenton, Alan Whelan, Marian Ni Mheachair (Online) and Mary Louise Hourigan (Online). Next week’s jackpot will be €6,200 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. SUMMER SOLSTICE: Sunday 21st June. Lough Gur Grange Stone Circle is Ireland's largest stone circle; it features entrance stones that align perfectly with the rising midsummer sun. Sunflowers are seen as a symbol of the summer solstice.
DAWN MASS AT CHIRST THE KING STATUE AHERLOW: You are invited by Emly Group of Parishes to Christ the King, Aherlow on Sunday 21st of June, for Dawn Mass at 6.00am. After Mass a light breakfast will be served, or you may bring your own packed breakfast. Seating will be provided for Mass and for breakfast.
The Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly compliments the Staff in both schools for the Confirmation ceremonies – “All went very well thanks to their work”.
