CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: We would like to thank everyone who helped us and voted for us in the recent Limerick Going for Gold competition. While we were not successful this time the work continues to enhance our village.
CAHERLINE GAA: CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner numbers drawn were 8, 15, 16, 28 - lucky dip winners were Joey McCoy, John Kiely (Online), Gerry Lonergan (Online), Aisling Murnane (Online) and Helen Moran. Next week’s jackpot will be €10,600 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. FIXTURES: Friday August 22nd, County Premier Junior A Hurling Championship, Caherline v Knockaderry in Kilfinane at 6:30pm. Tuesday August 26th, East Junior B Hurling Championship, Ahane v Caherline in Ahane at 7pm. U-14 HURLING: Our U14's played their 6th and final group game in this year's championship last Thursday night, August 14th, in Glenroe. The home side came away with the win and the defeat for Caherline meant that they did not qualify for the knockout stages of the shield. However, the lads can be happy with their efforts throughout the season, and they have a lot to look forward to in 2026. RESULTS: County Minor Hurling Championship Semi Final, played August 15th in Martinstown, full time score, Caherline: 3-11 Granagh Ballingarry: 2-16.

Knock/Lough Derg Retreat: Cashel & Emly diocesan 24-Hour Retreat, across Monday/Tuesday 8/9th September: Starts with Mass & Confessions at Knock Shrine on Monday 8th, overnight stay including evening meal and B&B in Great Southern Hotel, Bundoran.
