Exhibitor’s tables are free and filling up fast so if you would like a table, please contact 061 351141 or info@caherconlish.net What is happening on the day – Complete free access to the Millennium Centre- Exhibitors Showcase Tables- Sports Hall will be open free for children to play, along with our Party Bouncy Castles. - Ice Cream Van-Shop-Tea/Coffee/Biscuits- Full Bar Facilities-Playground-Face Painting-Millennium Centre Sports and Social Club registration. Bric a Braic, Pop up Shop and much more for the whole community to enjoy!

Vacancy for a part-time General Operative/Caretaker in the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish. 19.5 hours per week some evening work. Standard operating hrs. 8am-10pm. Rate of pay €12 per hour. Garda clearance will be required for the successful applicant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the current level of services and standards and improving where possible. He/she will report to the Board of Directors. Duties consist mainly of dealing with clients enquires and bookings, preparing for and supervising events, also ensuring their successful conclusion. Keeping a record of enquires and events. Recording receipt of payments. Ensuring the premises are a safe environment for all visitors. General cleaning and minor maintenance work. This is a Pobal Community Services Programme-supported position. A person on Tus, Gateway, CE Scheme or Jobs Initiatives will not qualify .Further details will be available at interview stage.

Joker Fundraiser: Next Draw Friday 1st September at 10pm. The Jackpot is now €480. No jackpot winner. Winner of €20 Breeda Maloney. The cost of entry is €2. Thank you all for your continued support, funds raised go towards the upkeep of the Millennium Centre.

CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 9, 21, 26 & 29. Holycross Abbey Solemn Novena: Friday 8th September -Saturday 16th Sept. Sessions at 7.00am, 10.30am. 4.30pm, and 7.3opm each day. On Sunday 10th Sept. 12.30pm replaces 4.30pm.

Combined Parishes: From Saturday last 26th August Fr. Walton took up his new appointment in Gortnahoe-Glengoole parish. Ballybricken-Bohermore now has no resident priest. Frs. Eddie Cleary (appointed Administrator of Ballybrcken-Bohermore), Fr. Sean Fennelly and myself will share pastoral duties. There is a new Weekend Mass Rota whereby our neighbouring priests will celebrate Masses here in Caherconlish-Caherline from time to time. Sunday Funerals are no longer available in our Parishes.

New School Year. Bless our students their parents and teachers and the whole school community as they start this new school year. We give thanks for their school community. As they learn to play Lord be with them. Be with them in their laughter, in their tears, when they get things wrong and when they get things right. Be with them as they travel to and from school. Be with them always Lord.
