Millennium Centre Sale of Work: The Millennium Centre will run a sale of work on October 10th. We will be happy to accept any unwanted saleable items you may wish to dispose of e.g mirrors, lady’s handbags, scarfs, picture frames, candle holders, delph, furniture, lamps, plants etc. Due to Covid 19 restrictions items may only be dropped off by prior arrangement. Caherconlish Tennis Club Grounds will be open to the public from 9am to 8pm daily. Strictly Members Only allowed on the tennis courts. Please pay your membership at the Millennium Centre. €30 Family membership, €15 Individual membership, €10 students/seniors.

You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Membership: Thank you to all the members who have renewed or become first time members in recent weeks. There are several benefits from taking out the annual membership and joining the Millennium Centre Sports & Social Club i.e., priority bookings, early notice of upcoming events and more to follow. Membership will be necessary for any event involving serving of food and the bar as we have introduced the covid vaccination certification checks and pre-bookings to allow us to manage the health measures for the safety of all those working and coming into the Millennium Centre. The first of those events commenced last Friday and Saturday evening the 20th & 21st August and this will be continued from 7pm to 11.30pm this weekend. Please contact the centre to discuss membership. The announcements will be made in advance through the Sports & Social club Facebook ‘private group’, so members are encouraged to join the group. We look forward to announcing events for you to enjoy your membership


CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 16, 20, 24 & 29. Lucky dip winners were Adam Kennedy, Pádraic O'Keeffe, Pat Fitz, Pat Coffey & Breda Hickey. Next week jackpot will be €3,000 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. JUNIOR A CHAMPIONSHIP: Dates, times & venues have been released for the first round of the 2021 hurling championship - we meet Templeglantine on Friday September 3rd in Kilmallock at 6:30pm. Very best of luck to management & panel in this year's championship.

U-19 HURLING: Our re-fixed game against Sarsfields will take place on Thursday September 2nd in Pallasgreen at 6:45pm .U-15 HURLING: Our U-15 championship quarter final will take place on Monday August 30th at 7pm in Caherconlish against Granagh-Ballingarry. Best of luck lads. FÉILE NA NGEAL: Despite playing some great hurling against teams from higher divisions, our lads didn't qualify for the knockout stages of Féile. But we couldn't ask any more of them, we're very proud of the effort they put in on the day. ALL-IRELAND FINAL: What a privilege it was to be in Croke Park last Sunday to witness an incredible Limerick performance, back-to-back All Ireland Champions. Many congratulations to all involved in Limerick Gaa.


Caherconlish Football Club: A huge congratulation to Limerick hurlers on their win last Sunday and in creating history in being the first Limerick team to win back-to-back All Ireland titles . We look forward to many glories' days out with this great team and it was great to see so many club members get to Croke park on the day to support this great team, long may it continue. TRAINING: Every Tuesday evening 6-30 7-30 pm in the GAA Field. It is very important that everyone completes the Return to play Health Questionnaire which can be accessed at www.foireann.ie this year. It needs to be completed before every training session and match. If you are having issues, please discuss it with the Coaches before training. Fundraiser. September 25th. We are continuing with our old clothes collection next one September 25th. We take all types of old clothes, shoes and handbags, No Duvets, or Pillows, We also can collect, or you can drop them off to us anytime, just contact a committee member. WEEKEND MASS TIMES: 6.30pm Saturday Caherconlish; 10am Sunday Caherline &11am Caherconlish.

Only ONE Anniversary Mass per Mass at our weekend Masses on Saturday and Sunday in Caherconlish and Caherline due to Covid restrictions on numbers. Anniversary Masses can also take place at weekday Masses.

WEEKDAY MASSES this week: Tuesday 10am &Thursday 10am in Caherline; Wednesday & Friday 10am in Caherconlish.

FIRST COMMUNION in Caherconlish postponed until Saturday 2nd October. Caherline Communion on Saturday 25th September In our diocese (& in our parish), we await advice of Government & guidance from Archbishop.

As our CHILDREN go back to school, we pray that everything will be o.k. Our Thanks, Admiration and Compliments to our school Principals and all then staff of the schools who have done tremendous work in getting ready to get the schools up and running again. Each individual child is very special and unique, full of potential, hopes and dreams. A slogan on the back of a truck read “Support your local school because a Mind is a terrible thing to waste”.

PARISH ENVELOPES: We thank you for your generosity in returning the weekly/monthly envelopes. These can be put in the safe (brown) box in either Church. Weekly basket collection is replaced by putting your offerings in the safe box and box left out during Masses at the end of the Church.
