CAHERLINE GAA: CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 3, 21, 24, 29 - lucky dip winners were Daniel, Aisling & Diarmuid Murnane, Eleanor Murphy, Declan O'Riordan, Molly Ennis (Online) and David Casey Snr (Online). GRADAM CEOIL TG4 2026 LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. On behalf of our Parish and our Pastoral team of Caherconlish/Caherline, we wish to congratulate, our Parishioner Uilleann Piper Mickey Dunne, who is the recipient of the Gradam Saoil/Lifetime Achievement award. A musician, teacher, composer, singer and uilleann pipe maker, Mickey will be presented with his award at the Gradam Ceoil Concert in the University Concert Hall on Sunday 13th Sept 2026. This will be televised on TG 104 on Sunday night 13th September at 9.30pm. Mickey gives so much of his time and talent to our Parish, and we thank him for all his involvement in events in the parish.

SEASON OF CREATION MONTH - Sept 1 to October 4.
SUNFLOWERS: now is the time to save some seeds for next year. The seeds form under the yellow flowers. You may see some seeds as the petals start to fall off. When the back of the sunflower head turns from green to yellow or brown, the seeds are normally ready. Check that the seeds have formed, then remove the sunflower head and bring it inside to dry, maybe on a windowsill for 2/3 weeks. The head has dried out when it feels crunchy and the seeds can be loosened out. You can leave the head as it is or remove the seeds and store them in a paper bag or envelope for next year’s plants. Please share seeds with others.
