JUNIOR A CHAMPIONSHIP: Our Junior A panel are back in action on Sunday against Drom-Broadford in Martinstown at 1pm (note the change of venue). Very best of luck lads. U-19 HURLING: Our U-19's are in quarter final action next Tuesday evening against Mungret-B, the game being played in Mick Neville Park at 7:30pm. U-17 HURLING: Our lads went down to Croom last Saturday morning 2-25 to 1-10, which brings an end to their championship for this year. The club would like to thank Seamus Murnane, his coaches and all the players for their effort this year. U-13 HURLING: There are games where everything goes pretty much to plan and that was the case for our U-13's last Saturday morning against Knockainey in the Division 3 Shield final. 1-03 from Evan Martin & a lovely point from Ciaran Tiernan had us up by 5 points at half time (1-04 to 0-02) and the message to the lads was to keep doing what they were doing, defend strong and take our scores. Right out the gate, we had another 1-01 scored in about 60 seconds, a lovely point from Ryan Moloney followed by Evan's second goal and from there, the result didn't really look in doubt. A goal from Michael Koyce in the 16th min of the second half was followed by a beauty from Evan 2 mins later to wrap up a brilliant win, final score, Caherline 4-08 Knockainey 0-04. The lads are back in action this Sunday in a challenge game against Crecora in Crecora, throw-in there at 4pm.
