The Board of Caherconlish Caherline Community Council: We regret to inform everyone that the Millennium Centre will be closed for the near future while repairs are carried out following the fire . We are working hard to get it up and running as soon as possible and will keep you updated. Thanks to all who have helped out and for all the offers of help we have received so far.


Unfortunately, due to the recent fire our phone line is not working. For all enquiries, please call 085 2885181. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Millennium Centre playground. The playground will be open every day from 9 am to 5 pm.


Lottery Syndicate Fundraiser for the Millennium Centre: Unfortunately, we have not won big. However, we have decided to reinvest the E126 we have won. This is the last week. CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 6, 16, 19 & 26. Lucky dip winners were Patricia Mulready, Mary Cussen, Jack Franklin, Kevin Wixted (online) & Tony Collins (online). Next week jackpot will be €4,100 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. JUNIOR A COUNTY FINAL: All involved with the club would like to wish our players and management the best of luck in the county final on Saturday against St Kieran's in Kilmallock at 2pm. U-21 CHAMPIONSHIP: is fixed for Tuesday November 16th at 8pm in Rhebogue against St Kieran's .


Caherconlish School 50/50 Draw. Draw continues every Thursday. You can get envelopes in Centra, Keith Ryan, Matt Barry, Mrs Hickeys shop, MB Hair Design, Upper Cuts, and the School. Thanks for your support.


CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: We would like to acknowledge and thank the Management, Officers and staff of Limerick City and County Council for all the improvements and repairs undertaken in our village recently. The provision of a new stone wall and footpath from Castle Park to the Tennis Grounds and Lodge Cross has been greatly welcomed in the community. A huge word of thanks to the landowners in this area for their help and co-operation in ensuring this project was completed to the highest standard. The continued support of Cllr. Brigid Teefy is very much appreciated. We are confident the positive communication lines we have with her, and the authorities will continue to reap further rewards.

Parish List of the Dead – Each year the list gets longer. Who would have thought that those named would be on this year’s list? One day you & I will be on that list and will be grateful to be remembered. We remember them at all Masses during November. Envelopes and blank sheets are available at the entrance of the churches. We carry on the great tradition of the Celts - the importance of remembering our ancestors. 'The Dead Bless Us' - "I feel that our friends amongst the dead really mind us and look out for us' - John O'Donoghue.

CEMETRIES: Rosary and Prayers at 2.30pm in Caherconlish & 3pm in Inch St Laurence this Sunday as we cherish the memories of our dearly deceased.

Special November Candle Cross at the back of both Churches for the month of November, cost to purchase €2 each. If you wish you can put the name of the person/family on the candle and place it on the Candelabra or take your candle home with you to light in your own home to remember your beloved family and friends.


BAPTISMS – application forms can be downloaded from the parish website or from either Sacristy.


CAHERCONLISH open daily 9am to 7pm. CAHERLINE open daily 10am to late afternoon. Drop in, say a prayer, light a candle.

PARISH ENVELOPES: We thank you for your generosity in returning the weekly/monthly envelopes. Weekly basket collection is replaced by putting offerings in the safe box and box left out during Masses at the end of the Church.

The Parish Boxes of Envelopes for 2022 are ready for distribution. A copy of the Diocesan Pastoral Plan will also be given to each household.
