The Caherconlish Caherline Community Council CLG 2023 AGM will take place on Monday December 9th at 8pm in the  Millennium Centre, Caherconlish. All members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend, to hear about how 2023 went for the Millennium Centre. Anyone interested in becoming a trustee or a volunteer is also encouraged to attend - even if you only have one hour a week, any help is appreciated.


Members bar open on a Friday and Saturday night from 7 pm. Memberships forms available at the reception.


Christmas Market and Santa Wonderland  will take place in the Millennium Centre on Sunday December 8th from 2 -5 pm. To book your table please contact the Millennium Centre 061 351141 or Kay 087 9774611.


Wednesday Club: Every  Wednesday at 2pm. New members are always welcome.


Our Annual Christmas Tea Party takes place on Sunday 15th December from 7 pm. Music & Raffle on the night. ADM €15 . All proceeds go to the Millennium Centre. CAHERLINE GAA : CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 2, 8, 13 & 29. Lucky dip winners were Mike Toomey, Barbara O'Leary, Damien Madden, Mary Cussen and Tommy Comyns. Next week’s jackpot will be €2,600 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. RESULTS: County U20 B Hurling Championship played November 7th in Rhebogue - Caherline: 2-19(25) Southside Gaels: 1-6(9). Our game against Tournafulla/Killeedy didn't go ahead on Tuesday night  MEDAL PRESENTATIONS: Our Bord na nÓg medal presentation evening will take place on Thursday November 21st in The Millennium Centre from 7pm, all are welcome to attend.  AGM: The main Club AGM will take place on Sunday November 24th at 6:30pm in The Millennium Centre. The Club AGM is the most important meeting of the year, and every effort should be made to attend.


GIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Local trio The Quarter Dozen, including musicians Valerie, Markus and Rodrigo, will perform in Dolans Upstairs on Sunday, November 24th at 8pm. Tickets can be booked at The Dolans website. They would love to see ye there.


Bus to crescent shopping centre:  Every Friday at 10:20AM  Returning: Leaving crescent at 12:45 (2 hours) Travel pass accepted otherwise its 4 euro return  Stopping at the Millennium centre and the bus stop on main street.  Phone Marie O’Connor on a Wednesday to reserve a seat 06922311 and to confirm where you would like to be picked up from.

PARISH LIST OF THE DEAD – Family and friends who have died are remembered at all the Masses in Caherconlish & Caherline during November. 'The Dead Bless Us' - "I feel that our friends amongst the dead really mind us and look out for us' - John O'Donoghue.


SPECIAL November CANDLE CROSS /CANDELABRA is situated at the back of both Churches for the month of November, cost to purchase €2 each. If you wish you can put the name of the person/family on the candle and place it on the Candelabra or take your candle home with you to light in your own home to remember your beloved family and friends.


CEMETERIES: There is a great tradition in our Parish of regularly visiting graves. We invite you to join us for Rosary and Prayers at 2.30pm in Caherconlish (cemetery behind the Church) & 3pm in Inch St Lawrence for 17th & 24th November as we cherish the memories of our dearly deceased.


BEREAVEMENT INFORMATION TALK: Bereavement Support Information Talk will take place in Milford Care Centre Education Department on Tuesday 26th November 7-8.30p.m.


WEEKDAY EUCHARIST: Tuesday & Thursday 10am in Caherline; Wednesday & Friday 10am in Caherconlish.


ADORATION HOUR: Tuesday in Caherline 10.30am, Friday in Caherconlish 10.30am.

Bilboa National School Annual Christmas Sale of work will be held on the 17th of November at 2pm. A fun family day event for all will be held at Cappamore Community Centre. There will be games, Santa will be in good spirits, bric a brac, raffle prizes and home baking to mention a few.
