The Millennium Centre Lottery Fundraiser is now over, after a mammoth 20 weeks. Unfortunately, we did not win big, winning a total of E150, which was used to buy more tickets. The Millennium Centre is grateful to all who joined to help raise money for the centre. This money is needed more than ever to help get the centre open again.

Our lotto tickets can be purchased online, go to www.lottoraiser.ie/Caherline or you can buy through the usual outlets in the village. MUNSTER HURLING JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: We will play Ballygiblin (Mitchelstown) in the Munster GAA Hurling Junior Club Championship semi-final on December 11th or 12th in a venue yet to be decided.

CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: We would like to thank everybody who helped us to achieve a positive Adjudication report for the National SuperValu Tidy Towns Competition. Our points increased to 256, up from 248 in our report of 2019. The Maximum points achievable is 470. This year’s competition was based on an online entry. The past two years have been difficult for everybody, but we are committed to continue the work to make us all “proud of our place.” The adjudication report can be accessed on www.tidytowns.ie. We would like to offer our congratulations to all the regional winners and especially to Ennis Tidy Towns who were the overall winners for 2021.
