Caherconlish Caherline Community Planning is now coming to an end with the final workshop taking place next Thursday 8th December in the Millennium Centre at 8 pm. This session is the last chance for residents of Caherconlish Caherline to decide on the priorities for our community. The workshop will cover these topics; What needs to change in our community? What services need to be delivered? Who is responsible for these priorities? When will these items be delivered? After this workshop, an Action Plan will be designed to cover the work through the survey and the 3 workshops. #Haveyoursay or miss the opportunity to influence the future

Cllr Brigid Teefy has received the following update on the traffic issues on the Boskill road and the junction coming onto the main road. Limerick City and County Council has recently appointed Clandillon Civil Consulting Engineers to assess the L5094 from its junction with the R513 up to the Boskill junction. The Consultants have been tasked with preparing recommendations to put new and improved pedestrian facilities from the R513 over to the Millennium Centre. They will also assess pedestrian movements at the R513 junction and recommend measures that will assist pedestrians to access the shop etc. Preliminary proposals should be ready early in 2023 and it is proposed that these will be put out for public consultation for observations/submissions.
