Cllr Brigid Teefy has received the following update on the traffic issues on the Boskill road and the junction coming onto the main road. Limerick City and County Council has recently appointed Clandillon Civil Consulting Engineers to assess the L5094 from its junction with the R513 up to the Boskill junction. The Consultants have been tasked with preparing recommendations to put new and improved pedestrian facilities from the R513 over to the Millennium Centre. They will also assess pedestrian movements at the R513 junction and recommend measures that will assist pedestrians to access the shop etc. Preliminary proposals should be ready early in 2023 and it proposed that these will be put out for public consultation for observations/submissions.
