The Millennium Centre Management & Staff would  like to wish you a  Happy New Year


The Management and Staff of the Millennium Centre would like to sincerely thank all those who supported our recent Xmas Market and Santa Experience.  Over 100 children visited Santa, and all received a complimentary selection box. We would also like to thank the members of the community who continue to bring bric-a-brac for our small shop in the reception area.  Bric-a-brac items are always welcome and create a continuous income stream to support the running of the centre.


Our Christmas Raffle took place on Friday 20th December. MILLENNIUM Name Plaque:  We are inviting you, your family, your friends, and the wider community to help with our future planning by purchasing; a Name Plaque 6” x 4” (150 x 100 mm) for the sum of €100. You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Your Plaque with your inscription will be displayed prominently in the Millennium Centre and highlighted appropriately. Contact the Millennium Centre for more information.


Ballyhoura Rural Services – Befriending are hiring somebody to work in office on High Street Caherconlish. Eligibility for CE Community Employment is necessary 19.5 hours per week. Work is general administration, Payroll, Office maintaining records and answering phone. If interested contact amcmahon@ballyhourars.org  or  by phone 086-7754202


CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: We would like to thank everyone who helped to make 2024 another successful year for us. A huge thank you to anyone who gave donations financial and otherwise to help us continue the work to make us all “proud of our place.” To the Management and staff of Limerick City and County Council and Ballyhoura Development we thank you for your continued support. We would like to wish everyone a happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.


CAHERLINE GAA : CLUB LOTTO. No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 4, 9, 18 & 21. Lucky dip winners were Eimear McCarthy (Online), Josephine O'Brien (Online), Matt Barry, Anne Carroll and Kathleen & Philip Mulready. THE FEAST OF CHRISTMAS continues until the Celebration of the EPIPHANY on Monday 6th January 2025, and we thank God for the joys and blessings it brings Us.


Follow the STAR to Bethlehem! Both Churches have lovely Cribs & trees and are open daily for people to drop in and say a prayer or light a candle. You are encouraged to visit the Crib – a strong Irish tradition. Bring along your children/ grandchildren to pray and to ponder that God is with us and for us in this new born baby.

CHRISTMAS BROWN SPECIAL 4 ENVELOPE (SP4) is for the Diocesan Common Fund from which the Priests receive their salaries. Thank you for contributing to the Church Fund through the weekly envelope system.  We ask those making their contributions on a once off annual basis to do so as soon as possible. 


The 2025 BOXES of Envelopes are ready for distribution.  Spare boxes available in the Sacristies.


ST VINCENT de PAUL COLLECTION – envelopes available at the back of the Churches.  Proceeds of the Annual collection are used to help our neighbours in need over the Christmas period and throughout the year.  Your support is greatly appreciated. Thanks to those who have already been very generous.

JUBILEE YEAR 2025. Pope Francis has begun the Jubilee year with the Opening of a special ‘Holy Door’ ceremony in the largest prison in Rome.  The theme of the Jubilee is ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ It will conclude on F. of the Epiphany, Jan 6th, 2026. How can I become a person of Hope?
