Community-led Participative Planning: Caherconlish Caherline: Ballyhoura Development CLG and Caherconlish Caherline Community Council have spoken of Community Planning for some time now, we are delighted to actually be organising some real-life activity on the ground! The Board of Caherconlish Caherline Community Council is the primary host for the Community Planning process. This invitation is going to the many groups/organisations/businesses that are within the Caherconlish & Caherline area. There is quite an extensive range of stakeholders of the Community Council. As this community planning process is community-led and owned, this invitation is extended to all stakeholders of the Caherconlish Caherline Community Council. The concept for this invitation is to enable a brief information session with local groups/organisations/businesses, where the planning process outline can be discussed, and any queries can be addressed. It is envisaged that this initial group meeting will help not only explain Community Planning but also help with attending groups advertise/invite their members, family, neighbours, etc. to the public engagement in due course. This initial meeting will be held in the Caherline Old School on Thursday 24th February 2022 from 7.30 pm with the public meetings being held in the Millennium Centre from April.
