Trócaire Boxes available in the Millennium Centre at Saturday 6.30pm Mass & in Caherline Church. Please take home one. East Africa is afflicted by a severe 2-year drought. No rain, no food; then hunger, famine, death. Somalia is a large country in East Africa, on the part that sticks out into the Indian Ocean. There, Trócaire and its agents are keeping 200,000 people alive - in camps & tents, with basic food & clean water. Your ‘home box’ can help.

GET INVOLVED IN YOUR CHURCH. Share your gifts, skills, and talents for a few hours every 4-6 weeks. On Tuesday 28th Feb 8pm a Parish training evening (1 Hour) will take place in Caherline Church. This evening will outline what is involved in Reading at Mass, Eucharist Ministry, and the Sacristan team, please come along without obligation. We take this opportunity to invite our current volunteers to come and join us on the night to encourage and support others in attendance and address any queries people may have. There are so many ways to help your Church, by joining our existing rotas as a Reader/Eucharistic Minister, Cleaner, (Caherconlish and Caherline cleaning groups meet once a month to clean their respective Church.) You might have ideas you would like to share with the meeting on the night on other ways people could help in their church -all ideas will be most welcome. If you are unable to come but feel you could give some time that would suit you, you can contact Phil Martin secretary of our Parish Pastoral Group (087)1363747), Fr. Roy or any member of the P.P.G.
