The Board of Caherconlish Caherline Community Council: The Millennium Centre will remain closed due to fire damage . The repairs have started, and we will update you with a reopening date as soon as we have one. Our main phone lines are down, so please contact Declan on 085 2885181 for any inquiries or bookings. Thanks for your patience and many offers of help.


Millennium Centre Playground will be open each day from 9 am – 5 pm


The Wednesday Club will continue in Mulcahy's Restaurant on Wednesday at 2pm. We look forward to seeing you all. New members are always welcome.


Review of the Caherconlish local area plan 2012- 2018 ( as extended) : Public consultation at this stage will take place until 5 pm on the 21st of March 2022. A public meeting will be held on Thursday 3rd March in Caherconlish Church between 2pm and 7 pm. The issues paper and the current Caherconlish local area plan can be viewed on the council website www.Limerick.ie . Submissions titled ‘Caherconlish LAP’ can be made via My Point: Https://mypoint.Limerick.ie, Email: forwardplanning@limerick.ie, Writing to : Forward Planning Section, Economic Development and Enterprise Directorate, Limerick City and County Council, Merchants Quay, Limerick. Submissions and observations should contain the name , address and where relevant the body represented. All submissions received during this period will be considered by the council in drafting of the of the new plan. Submission s will form part of the reports associated with the making of the new LAP, which will be available online. An online webinar will be help as part of the consultation process. Detail will be provided nearer the time and will be on www.limerick.ie


CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO : No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 20, 21, 23 & 29. Lucky dip winners were Aaron Nelligan (Online), Mary O'Connell, Mary O'Dwyer, Roger Fitz and Harry Tierney. Next week jackpot will be €5,600 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. INTERMEDIATE HURLING: The draws for the 2022 hurling & football championships took place on Tuesday evening last - in the Intermediate championship, Caherline are drawn with Murroe-Boher, Bruree, Croom, Na Piarsaigh & Feohanagh, games to begin in July. CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: The Club Limerick Draw is live for 2022. For only €10 a month, be in with a chance of winning a top prize of €10,000, PLUS 29 additional cash prizes each month. Join online at www.clublimerick.ie/draw/ or through any committee member. At least €50 of every membership goes directly to OUR CLUB, so we would welcome your support throughout 2022. This is a great opportunity for everyone to give their support to club and county. The first draw for 2022 takes place on March 26th. MEMBERSHIP: Caherline GAA membership for 2022 can now be paid online through the GAA's Foireann website at www.Foireann.ie. This is the only method chosen by the club this year for payment of membership. This is directly linked to the Player Injury Insurance Scheme, so if you get injured and the system doesn't have a record of your membership, you won't be insured. Membership for 2022 is as follows:- Adult Player = €40; U-21 = €30; U-19 = €20 (Max €50 per family); Adult non-player = €30. COBI SPORTS: Many thanks for your interest in our Cobi Sports gear again - the online shop is now closed the gear will be delivered towards the end of March.

ASH WEDNESDAY (Dé Céadaoin Fuinseoige) / LENT (Séasúr an Charghais) 2nd March (from this Sunday): Masses 9.30am & 7.30pm in Caherconlish; 10.30am in Caherline. Ashes will be distributed during Masses; all asked to wear masks. Ashes available in bowls for people to take away.

Caherline Sacristan Role: Creative solutions are required to ensure this important vital parish service continues in Caherline. The Parish Pastoral Council have put forward the idea of a Sacristan Team on a rota basis. A proposal letter is available at Masses this weekend and on our website and Facebook pages.

FIRST COMMUNIONS: 11am 7th May in Caherline; 11am 21st May in Caherconlish.


The BASKET collection is replaced by putting offerings in the safe box and box left out during Masses at the end of the Church. We thank you for your generosity.
