Caherline National School - Astro Turf Fundraiser: We have been granted funding for an Astro Turf facility in the school from a Sports Capital Grant. However, we need to raise more funds to complete the project. We will be holding a sponsored walk on Saturday April 2nd at 10am from the school around the Ballybrood Loop, after which there will be a bake sale in the Old school. This facility will be a wonderful asset to the school and community for many years to come. It is our intention to make this facility available to the clubs and organisations in the community/parish who may need to use it also for sporting activities, at no cost. If anyone else in our school community, past pupils, local businesses, former parents/guardians of the school, formers members of the school community, parishioners or members of local clubs/organisations would like to assist us with this fundraiser, sponsorship cards can be collected at the school reception at any time during the school day. Finally, a GoFundMe account has been set up where people can donate online also through: https://gofund.me/3ddc2794. All support for this fundraiser will be appreciated. Many thanks.
