Millennium Centre Sale of Work: Now that the longer brighter days are with us once again you may be considering a declutter of your home, garage, garden etc. The Millennium centre intend to run a sale of work as soon as it is safe to do so and will be happy to accept any saleable unwanted items you may wish to dispose of. Due to covid-19 restrictions this may only be done by prior arrangement. For further information and to make an appointment to drop off items please telephone Declan- 0852885181 or Nancy-0864088485. We regret we will not be able to accept clothing items, shoes, or bedding.


Millennium Centre playground the playground will be open every day from 9 am to 8 pm. Due to damage done to the playground over the past weeks, we would like to remind all parents and children of the following The playground is for CHILDREN UNDER 13 ONLY. ALL children MUST BE SUPERVISED when using the playground. Please do not dig the playground surface, in particular where the surface is wearing, as this creates holes in the surface. Please also note that, for security reasons, the playground is under CCTV surveillance.


Caherconlish Tennis Club Grounds will be open to the public from 9am to 8pm daily. Strictly Members Only allowed on the tennis courts. Please pay your membership at the Millennium Centre. €30 Family membership, €15 Individual membership, €10 students/seniors.


MILLENNIUM Name Plaque: We are inviting you, your family, your friends, and the wider community to help with our future planning by purchasing; a Name Plaque 6” x 4” (150 x 100 mm) for the sum of €100. You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Your Plaque with your inscription will be displayed prominently in the Millennium Centre and highlighted appropriately. Contact the Millennium Centre for more information.


Caherconlish AFC: are delighted to announce the 1st phase development of the soccer grounds. The club are hoping that the community will support us in trying to achieve this goal. CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 5, 13, 19 & 25. Lucky dip winners were Pádraig McCarthy, Declan Riordan, Ann O'Connell, Fr. Currivan and Bridie O'Connell. Next week’s jackpot will be €2,300 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support.

CÚL CAMP: We hope everyone enjoyed our Cúl Camp this year, we were blessed with the weather all week which is always a bonus! Many thanks to camp supervisor Sean McKenna, Gemma Murnane and everyone that helped out during the week, we could not run these camps without you giving up your time.

EAST/CITY JUNIOR B: Good win for our lads last Sunday evening against Ahane, winning 2-23 to 1-10. Next up, we travel to Clarina to face Ballybrown on Friday evening.

UPCOMING FIXTURES: East/City Junior B league, Ballybrown v Caherline on Friday evening at 7:30pm in Clarina; on Saturday morning, our U-7's have a blitz in Caherconlish against Murroe-Boher; on Sunday at noon, our Junior A lads welcome Doon to Caherconlish; next Tuesday, July 13th, our U-11's play Pallasgreen in Caherconlish at 6:45pm. PARISH ENVELOPES: We thank you for your generosity in returning the weekly/monthly envelopes. These can be put in the safe (brown) box in either Church.


SOME HAVE ASKED FOR CLARIFICATION RE Special Envelopes: SPECIAL (1) ORANGE ENVELOPE COLLECTION for diocesan needs – towards supporting various stuff like the listening process/ ACCORD/ safeguarding/ data protection etc. We asked to contribute 6800.


SPECIAL (2) ORANGE ENVELOPE COLLECTION for Peter’s Pence which Pope Francis uses for the relief of those most in need.


SPECIAL (3) ORANGE ENVELOPE COLLECTION will be for the Missions.


SPECIAL (4) ORANGE ENVELOPE COLLECTION will be to pay salaries of priests.


CEMETERY MASS IN INCH ST LAURENCE: We will wait until around the 19th of July to make a decision – hoping for an improvement in the Covid situation.


OUR PARISH WISH: Obviously, Schools are closed, and Summer holidays have begun. May all be safe on land and at sea during the Summer enjoying bright days full of joy and happiness in the grace of God. We praise God for all the graces bestowed on us. Examinations are finished and students look forward to the holidays. We wish all students in the parish lots of fun and every success. We ask the Holy Spirit to help them and keep them safe. We say “Well done and Thanks” to all our Teachers. No amount of time spent in education is ever wasted.
