Community Planning Process Continues

The Community Planning process has now moved on to the action plan and we wait for the draft action plan document to be prepared. The last workshop we worked through the 5 priorities and looked for an organisation or person to lead on them, but this was limited as we hadn't the broad range of stakeholders from the community in the room to avoid leaving everything up to the few. The 5 Areas agreed are Youth Needs, Community Vibrancy and Coordination, Transport and Commuter Travel, Local Amenities and Facilities and Enterprise and Commerce. There is plenty for any of you to get behind. Therefore, if you wish to get involved in any or all the priorities or are an elected/appointed representative of your residential area of Caherconlish or Caherline then contact Mike Walsh on 0851254584 and continue the future planning with other interested and committed residents.
