Caherconlish Road Work: Caherconlish R513 road with the road closure in place between
9am and 7.30pm. A single lane will be open to traffic and operated on a traffic light system until 9am the following morning. Both lanes will be Open to traffic for the weekend. On MONDAY 18th a 48-hour full Road Closure will be in place to allow the work take place on the resurfacing element of the scheme. The work is programmed to revert back to the current Road Closure system from 9am to 7.30pm on Wednesday, 20th Aug to Friday, 22nd August.
Updates will issue on any changes that may occur.
The Wednesday Club will return on Wednesday next August 20th at 2pm for our usual activities including dinner followed by our trip to the Irish night at the Booley House, Ballyduff, Co Waterford. The bus will leave the Millennium Centre at 5.15pm and return from the Booley House at 10.15pm arriving back at the Centre between 11.30pm and 12 midnight. The cost for the trip is €50.00 which includes dinner at the Centre, bus and entry to the show. For anybody not travelling dinner will be the usual €10. For those wishing to travel to the show and not have dinner the cost will be €40. We have a small number of seats available on the bus should anybody outside the club wish to join us.

Duties include providing a social visit to people in their own homes who may be experiencing loneliness through isolation or bereavement. CAHERLINE GAA: CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 6, 18, 23, 26 - lucky dip winners were Valerie Hamilton (Online), Denis Foley, Mike Gleeson, Hugh Murnane and Stuart Kiely (Online). Next week’s jackpot will be €10,400 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. FIXTURES: Monday August 18th, County Premier Junior A Hurling Championship, Caherline v Doon in Cappamore at 6:30pm. Our East Junior B Hurling Championship game against Cappamore is to be re-fixed, more details to follow. MINOR HURLING: Our Minor hurlers return to action this coming Friday in a County Semi-Final against Granagh-Ballingarry - throw-in is fixed for 6:45pm in Martinstown.
