Limerick City and County Council will publish the Draft Caherconlish Local Area Plan 2023 – 2029, this Saturday 15th October 2022, it will be on public display for 6 weeks until 28th November 2022, you are invited to make submissions in relation to the Draft Plan and get involved in the process. A public meeting will be held in the Millennium Centre on Tuesday 15th November 2022 from 3pm to 7pm.

Caherline NS: We are organising an open day to officially open the astro-turf facility this Friday, 14/10 at 1.30pm. We would love for members of the school and local community to join us, and some special guests, in opening the facility. There will be some tea/coffee and refreshments afterwards. Hope to see you all there.

ENVELOPE SYSTEM & CHY3: We thank you for your contribution to our Parish funds over the past 4 years through the envelope system. A total of 50,907 in refunds has been received from the Revenue Commissioners. Please return the CHY3 form which has to be refilled every 5 years. Forms also at the back of the Church. Absolute confidentiality and privacy are guaranteed. We do not receive any personal details or info from the Revenue Commissioners.

Each day throughout the month of October, the Church invites you to pray the ROSARY. Joyful Mysteries (Monday & Saturday). The Sorrowful Mysteries (Tuesday & Friday). The Glorious Mysteries (Wednesday & Sunday). The Mysteries of Light (Thursday). The Rosary is made up of five decades (one Our Father, ten Hail Marys & one Glory be).

Donate any old coins or notes (foreign old Irish & English). Fr. James Walton, Ballybricken, transfers the old money

into coins and sends it to the Church Fund in Iceland – where a friend of his, Denis is Parish Priest. You can place the old money in an envelope and put it in the Church fund box in either Church/in the basket at the weekends/ or Fr. James Walton.

CAHERLINE GAACLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 10, 18, 20 & 30. Lucky dip winners were Pa & Liam Coffey, Bernie Ryan (Online), Grace Carroll, Ger Coffey, and Catherine MacKey (Online). Next week’s jackpot will be €8,900 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. Our lotto tickets can be purchased online, go to or you can buy through the usual outlets the village in. SPONSORED WALK: A sponsored walk will take place on Monday October 31st, starting at 12 noon from the Millennium Centre, returning there afterwards for refreshments. We'd appreciate everyone's support for this fundraiser, if you don't have access to a card or the GoFundMe page, donations can be given to any club officer. INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP: Intermediate Relegation final, Caherline: 0-13 Kilmallock: 0-17- the result means we'll be joining the Junior ranks again next year. Thanks to Damien, Paddy, Seamus, Pa & Johnny for putting in savage hours all season with the lads, Katie Lynch for the physio work & Pat Fitz for looking after the gear. U-21 HURLING: Our U-21 championship gets underway on Sunday morning next in Caherconlish, as we welcome St Kieran's for a 12-noon throw-in. All support welcome. U-13 HURLING: The Slieve Feilim competition gets underway for us on Sunday afternoon at 2pm in Cappamore, with games against Cappamore, Crecora & Sean Treacy's. CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: The October CLUB Limerick draw will take place on Saturday 29th October with an exclusive prize of a €500 Voucher for Tully’s Travel Agents. 1st Prize €10,000 with 28 other CASH Prizes to give away...entry only €10 per month.
