CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: We have submitted an entry to the Supervalu National Tidy Towns Competition. Adjudication will take place in the next few weeks. We would urge everyone to make a big effort to keep the area neat, clean, and tidy. We would urge dog walkers to clean up after their dogs. A few painting and planting projects are planned weather permitting. We welcome volunteers to give us a hand for 1 or 2 hours a week. Please keep an eye on this newsletter for updates.

LAST MONDAY’S DEANERY MEETING of local parishes will be followed up with an open meeting on Wednesday 8th June at 8.30pm in the Millennium Centre. You are asked to come along and if possible, bring someone with you to discuss the future of our Parish Community.

Congrats to the 10 Caherconlish First Communicants – a great day was had by all. Special thanks to their parents and families; their teacher, Mr. Tynan; Sonya McKeon & the choir; those who decorated the church - Ger Riordan & Aislinn; Mr. Ryan (Principal) & the Staff of Caherconlish N.S.; Maria who did the booklet; Pa O'Connell, the Millennium Centre and those who helped out in any way. Delighted that everything has worked out well for both schools in these difficult topsy turvy pandemic times.


Padre Pio National Pilgrimage at Holy Cross Abbey, Thurles Sunday 29th May from 1.30pm.


St. Mary's Church in Knockainey Sat, June 4th, the eve of Pentecost from 12 noon to 1 pm an hour of Music, Prayer, Praise and Adoration. All are welcome. There will also be teas and coffees in the Community Centre afterwards.


Boher Community Development Association - 40K Charity Cycle: The annual charity cycle in aid of Cliona’s Foundation will take place on Friday, June 3rd, starting at 7.15pm from Boher Community Centre Station House. Registration from 6pm. This is a 40K cycle with various shortcut options. Refreshments following the cycle. Donations can be made on our Instagram site.


Anniversary Mass for Tim Joe Ryan will take place this Sunday in Caherconlish Church at 11 am


CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 8, 9, 18 & 25. Lucky dip winners were Deirdre Cronin (Online), Eamon Boland (Online), Keith Ryan, Kitty O'Mahony and Stephen Quane. Next week’s jackpot will be €6,900 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. FIXTURES: On Friday May 27th, our U-9's travel to Cappamore, throw-in there at 6:45pm. On Saturday morning at 10:30am, our U-7's travel to Clarina and on Sunday morning, our U-15's travel to Rathkeale (Bog Garden) for a challenge match, throw-in at 11am. Very best of luck to all teams. CÚL CAMP 2022: Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps are back! The camp in Caherline Gaa will take place from Monday June 27th - Friday July 1st. Our camp supervisor this year is Sean McKenna.
