Millennium Centre Sale of Work: Now that the longer brighter days are with us once again you may be considering a declutter of your home, garage, garden etc. The Millennium centre intend to run a sale of work as soon as it is safe to do so and will be happy to accept any saleable unwanted items you may wish to dispose of. Due to covid-19 restrictions this may only be done by prior arrangement. For further information and to make an appointment to drop off items please telephone Declan- 0852885181 or Nancy-0864088485. We regret we will not be able to accept clothing items, shoes, or bedding.


Millennium Centre playground the playground will be open every day from 9 am to 8 pm. Due to damage done to the playground over the past weeks, we would like to remind all parents and children of the following The playground is for CHILDREN UNDER 13 ONLY. ALL children MUST BE SUPERVISED when using the playground. Please do not dig the playground surface, in particular where the surface is wearing, as this creates holes in the surface. Please also note that, for security reasons, the playground is under CCTV surveillance.


Lottery Syndicate Fundraiser for the Millennium Centre: We are well under way with the Daily Million and Daily Million plus. Keep your fingers crossed for a big win! Thanks to all who supported us. Caherconlish Tennis Club Grounds will be open to the public from 9am to 8pm daily. Strictly Members Only allowed on the tennis courts. Please pay your membership at the Millennium Centre. €30 Family membership, €15 Individual membership, €10 students/seniors.


MILLENNIUM Name Plaque: We are inviting you, your family, your friends, and the wider community to help with our future planning by purchasing; a Name Plaque 6” x 4” (150 x 100 mm) for the sum of €100. You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Caherconlish AFC: are delighted to announce the 1st phase development of the soccer grounds. The club are hoping that the community will support us in trying to achieve this goal. CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 11, 21, 22 & 27. Lucky dip winners were Pat Coffey, Maisie Williams, Mary Begley, Helen & Kelly Moloney and Amelia, Ellise & Lennon. Next week jackpot will be €2,500 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support.

EAST INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE FINAL: This was a game where Ballybricken were that bit sharper than us unfortunately last Monday night, taking the win 3-16 to 2-10. We now await Brian Butler Cup & Junior A Championship fixtures to see when we're out next.

U-15 HURLING: A great win for our U-15's last Monday night, which puts them at the top of the table, level on points with Pallas. We play Pallas on Bank Holiday Monday, August 2nd, in Pallasgreen at 7pm.

UPCOMING FIXTURES: On Tuesday July 27th, our U-11's are away to Ballinacurra Gaels at 6:45pm. And finally on Friday July 30th, our U-17's play their revised fixture against Blackrock in Caherconlish at 7pm. Very best of luck to all teams.

PARISH ENVELOPES: We thank you for your generosity in returning the weekly/monthly envelopes. These can be put in the safe (brown) box in either Church. Weekly basket collection is replaced by putting your offerings in the safe box and box left out during Masses at the end of the Church.


CEMETERY MASS IN INCH ST LAURENCE: 7.30pm Friday 6th August. People are asked to wear masks and keep social distancing entering/ during/ exiting. Should the numbers of Covid cases go dangerously high, the Mass will be cancelled.

SPECIAL (1) ORANGE ENVELOPE COLLECTION during March for diocesan needs – towards supporting various

stuff like the listening process/ ACCORD/ safeguarding/ data protection etc. We asked to contribute 6800.


SPECIAL (2) ORANGE ENVELOPE COLLECTION during June/July for Peter’s Pence which Pope Francis uses for the relief of those most in need.

SPECIAL (3) ORANGE ENVELOPE COLLECTION during October for the Missions

SPECIAL (4) ORANGE ENVELOPE COLLECTION during December to pay the salaries of priests. We are asked to contribute 28K.
