COMMUNITY EXPO DAY IS BACK IN THE MILLENNIUM CENTRE! ON SUNDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER 2023, FROM 2pm-5PM Following on from the success of last year’s EXPO, we are delighted that many of our local service providers, businesses, groups, and organisation have confirmed that they will join us once again to showcase what they do and what has made the Community & the Millennium Centre a sustained success. Exhibitor’s tables are free and filling up fast so if you would like a table, please contact 061 351141 or info@caherconlish.net What is happening on the day – Complete free access to the Millennium Centre- Exhibitors Showcase Tables- Sports Hall will be open free for children to play, along with our Party Bouncy Castles. - Ice Cream Van-Shop-Tea/Coffee/Biscuits- Full Bar Facilities-Playground-Face Painting-Millennium Centre Sports and Social Club registration. Bric a Braic, Pop up Shop and much more for the whole community to enjoy!

Joker Fundraiser: Next Draw Friday 8th September at 10pm. The Jackpot is now €500. No jackpot winner. Winner of €20 Sarah Comyns. The cost of entry is €2. Thank you all for your continued support, funds raised go towards the upkeep of the Millennium Centre.

CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner - numbers drawn were 6, 8, 11 & 27. Lucky dip winners were Theo Butler, Willie Carroll, John & Lennon, Michael Hickey and St. Ailbe's Staff Caherconlish (online). Next week’s jackpot will be €13,600 and the draw will be held on Friday night next via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. Doon Badminton Club every Monday from 8pm to 10pm in the community centre Doon. New and old member's welcome. €5 on the night. Over 16s allowed but must be accompanied with an adult. NEW MASS ROTA - There is a new Mass Rota whereby our neighbouring priests Frs. Sean Fennelly & Eddie Cleary will celebrate Masses here in Caherconlish & Caherline from time to time (operating from Saturday16th September). These changes are challenging for us all. This is a learning situation which requires further reflection and feedback. Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly will meet with people from the parish combinations on Thursday 19th October7.30pm in the Millennium Centre. Everyone is welcome to this meeting.

Diocesan Cathedral: Concert in the Cathedral in Thurles by ‘The Priests’ on Friday, 29th Sept, in aid of its re-roofing. Ticket donation €35, at Thurles Parish Office 0504-22229.

Holycross Abbey Solemn Novena: Friday 8th – Sat 16th Sept. Sessions daily at 7.00am, 10.30am, 4.30pm, 7.30pm. On Sunday 10th : 12.30pm replaces 4.30pm.

CAHERLINE N.S. will celebrate the Beginning of School Year Mass on Thursday 14th at 10am. All welcome.
