Millennium Centre Playground The playground will be open every day  from 10am to 6pm. There are restrictions in place that will be reviewed and adjusted going forward. Parents or guardians are required to: To bring their own hand sanitiser for the cleaning of their children’s hands before, and at regular intervals during and after use of the playground equipment. In the absence of such sanitation parents or guardians are requested to refrain from allowing their children use of the equipment. To ensure physical distancing between children. To advise children to avoid touching their face, eyes, nose, and mouth. To ensure children under your care have regard to the safe use of equipment and to the safety of others at all times. To adhere to the most up to date health advice. Please respect the restrictions in place and we cannot allow unsupervised children i.e. under 18's to be on the grounds and will take steps to ensure compliance.


Caherconlish National School  50/50 draw will continue weekly.


Tennis Courts : The tennis courts are open to members only. Please ring the Millennium Centre to book a slot. Keys must then be collected and dropped back to the Millennium Centre after each session. Following guidelines from Tennis Ireland, the toilets and clubhouse remain closed. Please bring and use hand sanitizer. No doubles unless players are from the same household. Please keep 2m distance from other players


MILLENNIUM Name Plaque:  We are inviting you, your family, your friends and the wider community to help with our future planning by purchasing; a Name Plaque 6” x 4” (150 x 100 mm) for the sum of €100. You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Your Plaque with your inscription will be displayed prominently in the Millennium Centre and highlighted appropriately Contact the Millennium Centre for more information.


Digital Skills: In accordance with current restrictions, classes will take place at a later date in the Millennium Centre.  Time:10.30am-12.30pm for 5 weeks. Max 5 people per class. Avail of this free opportunity to get connected at a social distance. Beginner’s Line Dancing Classes: In accordance with current restrictions classes will take place at a later date in the Millennium Centre. Time:  8.00-9.00pm. Cost €30 for 4 weeks. Booking by text, contact Pat 087 2577761.


Crafty Angels: In accordance with current restrictions sewing group will return at a later date.


Pilates4All: In accordance with current restrictions classes will return at a later date.


Slimming World: Every Wednesday. For the next few weeks, Slimming World will be operating on a weigh and go. To  Book your place  Contact Martina 089 4079264

Parish Notes

Level 3 Restrictions Implications:  All our Masses ceremonies, and parish meetings are cancelled for the foreseeable future. Except for Funerals (only 25 family), there can be no congregation in church for any Mass.


Both Churches will remain Open for Private Prayer, Light a Candle or simply to say “Hello” to Jesus. Big Thanks to those opening/ closing Churches and Cleaners.


CAHERLINE CHURCH open for private prayer 11am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday to 4pm daily.   Closed the other three days

Caherconlish AFC  Please support our Halloween Draw. First prize €1,000 voucher for Centre Parcs ,Numerous other spots prizes. Tickets cost €5 each . Draw will take place on November 7th . Tickets on sale at  Ryan’s XL shop


Caherline GAA Club LOTTO:  No winner, numbers drawn were 3, 6, 12 & 13. Lucky dip winners were Jamie, Tom & Mark, John Lee, Pat Coffey, Margaret Lyons, and Kathleen Duggan. Next week jackpot will be €6,200 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live at 9:30pm. As always, we appreciate everyone's support. Tickets are on sale in Ryan’s XL shop, the Post Office and from the usual promoters.

FIXTURES ON HOLD: While juvenile training can continue as per the guidelines outlined in the Government's Covid 19 National Framework, all blitzes/matches have been suspended with immediate effect and until further notice.

CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: The next Club Limerick Draw takes place on Saturday October 31st - October's exclusive star prize is 2 nights luxurious accommodation, in a deluxe room at Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens including breakfast in the Sandstone Restaurant, evening dinner for 2 plus a bottle of house wine with meal, a bottle of prosecco & chocolates in room upon arrival, late check out & Shed Distillery visitor experience. Remember, at least half of your membership goes directly to OUR CLUB, so we would appreciate your support.

Caherconlish GAA Football Club: underage training Tuesday evening with U8 up to U12 training, It is important for everyone to complete the E-learning module and the Health Check. You can find then on the GAA website, GAA.IE. Training will continue for these age groups every Tuesday evening.

Fundraiser: Old Clothes Collection planned for 17th October: We would like to thank everyone who supports our clothes collection fundraiser . Your support is greatly appreciated. All funds raised goes into the running of the club. If unable to drop off, we can collect any time.
