Millennium Centre playground the playground will be open every day from 10am to 5.30 pm.


MILLENNIUM Name Plaque: We are inviting you, your family, your friends, and the wider community to help with our future planning by purchasing; a Name Plaque 6” x 4” (150 x 100 mm) for the sum of €100. You will be registered as a lifetime member of the Millennium Sports and Social Club in return for your support. Your Plaque with your inscription will be displayed prominently in the Millennium Centre and highlighted appropriately. Contact the Millennium Centre for more information.


CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: Team Limerick Clean-up, TLC6 will take place on Good Friday 2nd April. This will be a “different but doable” event, due to covid restrictions. Registration is only being accepted from individuals and those within their household bubble. Anybody interested in participating can visit www.teamlimerickcleanup.ie.

The Supervalu National Tidy Towns competition will be taking place this year. The format will be different to previous years due to covid restrictions. There will be no adjudicator visits in this year’s competition. Marking will be based on entry form. Periodic updates will appear on the newsletter.


CAHERLINE GAA CLUB LOTTO: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, our club lotto remains suspended for the foreseeable future. CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: The first Club Limerick draw for 2021 takes place on Saturday morning, 27th March. Many thanks to all who have supported it again this year, the best of luck to you in the draw!

MEMBERSHIP: Caherline GAA membership for 2021 can now be paid online through the GAA's Foireann website at returntoplay.gaa.ie. This is the same website where the health questionnaires were filled out. While we will not be back hurling for a while, membership is necessary for insurance coverage when we do return. If you have not already registered on this system, you will have to register with a username and password and assign Caherline GAA as your club. Membership for 2021 is as follows:- Adult Player = €40; Adult non-player = €30; U-21 = €30; All U-18's = €20 (Max €50 per family).CON & ANNIE KIRBY MEMORIAL: Sponsored by JP & Noreen McManus, the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial is back at Limerick Greyhound Stadium this March & April and with it our club’s chance to €10,000 & a free fundraising night. Each of the Limerick GAA Clubs assigned to the 6 Finalists on Saturday 24th April are guaranteed a prize.


Caherconlish GAA Football Club. The GAA has issued advice to clubs and counties for activities that are permissible and not permissible in 2021 until further notice. Under Level 5 of the plan for living with Covid-19, individual training only is permitted for GAA clubs. Neither adult nor underage teams may train collectively & club games are not permitted.

Membership. All players have to be Registered for the 2021 season to be covered by insurance, Membership for the 2021 season Youth €20- €40 for two or more players. Student: €20 and Adult: €30.

Con and Annie Kirby Memorial Stake: We are drawn in Heat 12; our greyhound is Deadly Tornado running out of trap 2. Best of luck to him. First round is on this Saturday night 27th of March. LIMERICK DRAW: The first draw for 2021 will take place on Saturday morning, 27th March. Log onto limerickgaa.ie/club-limerick-draw to join today or make contact with one of the committee members. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Fundraiser. We are continuing with our old clothes collection and will hold a collection day in late April date to be confirmed. We also can collect, or you can drop them off to us anytime just contact a committee member. Thanks to everyone that support us.

Limerick Youth Club CLIMATE ACTION GROUP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN EAST LIMERICK “NO ONE IS TOO SMALL TO MAKE A DIFFERENCENo young person is too small in East Limerick to have a positive effect on Climate Change. Through Limerick Youth Service we are setting up a local club for the Castleconnell, Murroe, Cappamore and Caherconlish areas to explore how young people can create positive Climate Action benefits in their local areas. This club will initially be online forums where ideas can be exchanged, and collective actions take to improve the quality of life for young person in East Limerick.
