THE SYNOD IN ROME. On the second week the bishops and lay members of the synod focus on the theme of “communion” and consider how the church might provide greater welcome to all its members, and how it can improve relations with other Christian denominations. The Pope’s mantra is “todos, todos, todos” that the Catholic Church should be open to (“everyone, everyone, everyone.”.) The Pope has said “Jesus extended this communion to all sinners, are we ready to do the same” ? he asks.
