MEALS ON WHEELS In response to the Covid-19 pandemic The Millennium Centre began our Meals on Wheels service last April. We would like to thank Ian Stapleton (Stone oven Bistro) for setting up a Go Fund Me page to assist the service and to everybody that donated so generously to this page. We would like to thank Limerick Island Community Partners (St Marys Aid) for providing the meals. We are extremely grateful for the funding we have received from the JP Mc Manus Benevolent Fund, Limerick County Council, The Community Foundation of Ireland, Fr. Seamus Enright and the Limerick Redemptorists Community, Rev Niall Sloane and Limerick City Parish, Hospital Family Resource, Ballyhoura Development and Macra Na Feirme. None of this would have been possible without our Volunteer drivers and the Red Cross who gave and continue to give their time so generously. We would like to wish our customers and volunteers a safe and Happy New Year.

The frontline workers are like the lights on our trees – they bring light, healing, uplift and hope to us in the midst of the dark shadows cast by Covid 19.
